Today's Discussion is on My Favorite and Least Favorite Drinks!

Who's ready for a random thought from Glimmer? Well, today I started thinking about my favorite drinks and other drinks I simply won't touch. Again, I'm a picky eater as I just said in my last post on being a vegetarian. So, naturally, I'm also a picky...drinker!

Here's a list of drinks I will NEVER touch:

Coffee (of any kind...put sugar in it, milk, creamer, whatever...it still tastes bitter and gross)
Tea (of any kind)
Cream Soda
Coke/Pepsi
Diet Soda
Mio or Mia or whatever its called, those flavors you add to water
Sparkling Water
Mountain Dew (any kind...and I call myself a gamer?)
Beer, Wine or any alcoholic drink really that tastes like alcohol
Energy Drinks of any kind
Gatorade (this isn't an energy drink, right?)
Plain 2% milk
Blueberry Juice
Almond milk (gross, gross, gross!)

So, yeah, I don't drink a lot of beverages. I've always been given the raised eyebrows for not liking coffee or tea, but I don't get it. Both of those drinks are super bitter and I can't believe the amount of people who will put up with the awful taste just so they can get some caffeine in their bodies. Or...maybe they just like the taste (they must have just gotten used to it over time). So, we started with the negatives first this time. Let's talk about tasty drinks!

Here's a list of drinks I ENJOY:

Hot Chocolate
Chocolate Milk (this one I can drink with any sort of milk, but I've never tried almond chocolate milk)
Root Beer
Orange/Raspberry/Peach Soda
Sprite
Orange Juice
Apple Juice
Tomato Juice
Apple Cider (hot or cold)
Lemonade
Mojitos (one of the only alcoholic drinks I can tolerate)
Pina Coloda (guess I can tolerate this one too)
Shirley Temple (the BEST)
Yoohoo! (my favorite drink EVER)
Milkshakes (all flavors, any flavors!)

There are other drinks out there that I can drink that are okay, like eggnog or some other sodas, but I will tell you the drink I sip on the most - yep, that's right - WATER. I drink about 4-6 bottles of water a day. I drink so much water at work alone as I'm at my desk. I've been trying to drink a whole bottle before eating a meal, so I won't be as hungry, one of the many lessons I've learned from my parents. Drinking a lot of water is healthy for you, and fills you up! After a workout, I will drink about two bottles. My friend recently bought me a re-usable water bottle that tracks how much water intake you have daily. I love it!

There's my least favorite and my favorite drinks. They aren't in any order, but if I'd say which are my least favorite and favorite I'd say...tea and Yoohoo! Quite the different combo, I know. Tea is just too strong of a flavor. When my little sister worked at a tea selling store, she was DETERMINED to get me to like a flavor of tea. I don't want to know how many I tried. But, they were all equally as gross as the last. For Yoohoo!, I grew up loving the chocolaty water drink, and well, unlike with most childhood foods, this drink stayed my long-term favorite. Whenever I go somewhere and there is a Yoohoo glass bottle in the drink machine, I instantly reach for my wallet. Haven't had a good Yoohoo! in a while though, because the little guys are pretty expensive and NEVER on sale!

Love,
glimmer

glimmer's Super Duper Analysis on "Is it Worth it?" Collection series Part 1: Crash Crate - Box Today we will be discussing the Crash Bandicoot Loot Box from numskull and Activision, known as the "Crash Crate". In articular, we are looking at the box itself. After all, all the goodies had to come in something fun and Crash Bandicoot-related, right? As you can see from the above image, the crate fits all of the items inside perfectly. When first opened, the mug was wrapped in bubble wrap. The piece of thick paper with a jungle image was combined with the Crash bottle opener, wrapped in a thin layer of plastic. Besides the missing plastic and bubble wrap, the above image does a good job of showing you all what it looked like when first opening the box. Now, let's talk about the design (my favorite part of the discussion). I pulled the above image off the fan-made Crash Bandicoot Wiki,  Bandipedia . God, you gotta love the names of these wikipe...
Today's Discussion is on Therapists I had my first ever therapist visit. Let's go over it together! Looking for a therapist is as stressful as applying for a job. I had to call my insurance, double check my plan, search on different websites, read their bios, check their location to make sure it isn't too far away from work or home, call them, get an appointment, figure out my co-pay, figure out my deductibles, fill out their forms, print out their forms and...ugh! But, I did it! Here we are. Luckily my insurance pulled a rabbit out of their hat and I only had a co-pay of $5.00. That's much cheaper than my sister or dad's therapists. As I have said before, my sisters and dad see a therapist. This was my first ever visit to a therapist, so I was quite nervous. Throughout the week I kept plotting in my head what could go horribly wrong. Would I just abruptly leave? What if the chair was not comfy? What if I started crying? Luckily none of those questions en...
g1immer's 3-Day Video Game Review! Shenmue 1 Re-Release Hi everyone! If you follow me on twitch, you may be aware that I picked up a physical copy of Shenmue 1+2 for the Playstation 4 on its release date (this Tuesday, 8/21/18). I will go over my experience with the game, pros and cons, memories it brings up, etc! I hope this won't be too scatter-brained, but let's dive right in! First off, this was a re-release, NOT a re-master or a re-make. The difference, to put it simply, is that a re-master has increased graphics and that is it. A re-make would be everything looks way more shiny and new. A re-release is basically just the game and all its bugs and quirks, slapped on the new system. Graphics may still look like they are from the 2000's, but that era always gives me the heart flutters (you are talking to a girl who loved her Nintendo GameCube so go figure)! The box came with a poster with the cover art and the image on the back of it, with some girl an...
