My days as of late haven't been looking too bright, so I really could use the pick-me-up. I've been taking care of family, friends, dealing with bad weather (which usually tends to drain me too, thanks rain), and of course, applying for jobs! Dun dun DUN! I haven't sat down, updated my resume and even glanced at my linkedin or indeed accounts for...about a year now. I've been happy and content with my "new" job, but I still long for that something more. I'm a woman who always is looking for a challenge and I haven't quite found my niche yet in the gaming field. Today's Discussion is on My Favorite and Least Favorite Days of the Week Okay, this one is probably the staple choice for most people, but my favorite is Saturday and my least favorite is Wednesday. You can move on to another post now! Or, you can stick around to read a brief lecture about the days of the week in correlation to how glimmer spends her time. Everyone always says Mondays are their least favorite (insert Garfield joke here), which is totally understandable as it is the day most of us full-timers go back to work after our always too short weekend. What I don't like about Mondays is they act like Sundays on occasion when they fall on a holiday where we get out of work (more about my dislike for Sundays coming up). To me, however, they are the start to a new week, and usually the first day back to work is busy enough that I don't get too caught up in it. I tend to stream more on Mondays, so I get excited to coming back from work to do something I love. ...

g1immer's Pet Peeves in No Particular Order Number 2 - Not Following Proper Bathroom Etiquette No picture for this post as that would just be inappropriate (and taking a picture of a random stranger isn't?). So, I do not identify as a dude and therefore I use the ladies' or family bathrooms (there is only one at my work place which is annoying, but that's a topic for another day). This post will be my complaints about other people who identify themselves as 'women' or at least acknowledge that they want to use the women's bathroom. I will just call them "ladies", which I know is generalizing. Please don't take offense as anyone can use the women's bathroom! "There were more paper towels behind the door again," one of the guys chuckled as they came back from the men's bathroom. Something You Don't Know About glimmer Part 3 - She always has a lot on her plate! I mean this figuratively and literally! When I go out to eat at a buffet, it is quite dangerous. I usually stock up on pizza and mac n' cheese, leaving out the fruit or veggies that should be most of my plate. But, we aren't here to talk about my poor eating habits.
