Today's Discussion is on...My Favorite and Least Favorite Pokemon!
Part 1 - Favorite Pokemon

As a disclosure, my "least favorite" Pokemon, that I may totally bash on for their looks, use, moveset, etc. are just because of my history with that Pokemon. If your favorite makes the list - I'm sorry! This is just an opinion of mine. I also, personally believe that, as there are some flawed designs for Pokemon out there, no one generation should be looked at in a bad light. As a creator myself, I understand that coming with brand new ideas isn't always easy and some ideas may be generally loved (example: Mimikyu) and some may be generally hated (example: Garbador). As the saying goes - "you win some, you lose some.' Here we go!

Let's start with the positives! Be sure to check out my twitter page for a bigger look at the image above. If you are interested in taking the quiz yourself, I will link it in this text right here!

First off, the two types I have the most of are Dragon and Fire types - I have three of each (dual-typing of course). I've also always been a fan of dark types, as you can tell from the list with Houndoom and Mandibuzz (AND Lycanroc Midnight Form - it totally should have been a Rock/Dark).

I have three Pokemon from set one, one from set two, three from set three, one from set four, five from set five, three from set six and two from set seven. So, according to this list, my top favorite designs of Pokemon are from generation five, which makes sense to me. In Pokemon Black and White and Pokemon Black and White 2, I loved the moving animations of the 2D sprites. The layout of the game also felt like there were a lot of new Pokemon to discover and find.

My all-time favorite Pokemon is Houndoom, and I will explain why. I love demons and devils in media (I'm a huge fan of the Castlevania show on Netflix - go check it out). I also love Doberman Pinschers and dogs, and feel that the poor pups get misrepresented in the media like TV shows and movies. Too be fair though, Dobermans always play my favorite characters - the bad guy dogs who think they are ruff and tuff (see what I did there?). I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Mega Houndoom. His design is so hardcore-looking and he just looks like a Pokemon you wouldn't want to mess with. Generation two was also where I started playing Pokemon, and he was always my favorite-looking of the Pokemon Silver sprites.

My second favorite Pokemon is Arcanine - a definite close second. Arcanine is a mix between a tiger and a wolf which is very cool, but what was even more cool in my eyes was that he was supposed to be considered a Legendary beast in his Pokedex entry. As a kid playing my older sister's copy of Pokemon Red, I never saw an Arcanine until your rival had one and I had no idea how to obtain one. I saw in a new commercial for Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee that you can ride on your Arcanine and that is just the coolest thing ever to me. It reminds me of the opening to the Pokemon Anime I watched when I was a kid.

Third comes Lycanroc (midnight form). I LOVE werewolves - so this design was too cool for me to pass up when I picked up Pokemon Moon. The Pokemon's design also reminds me of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise for some reason, which the sideways smile and the big hands - and I love Sonic. I only wish Lycanroc had cooler moves and was a Dark type, as I mentioned earlier.

The next one is my favorite Legendary Pokemon - Kyurem. I've always been a fan of ice dragons in any sort of media, as I love the snow (when I'm not in it). One of my favorite dragon figures is an ice dragon that resembles a skeleton. Kyurem is so cool (pun intended, duh), and his typing makes him a force to be reckoned with! His design is one of my all-time favorites. I couldn't wait to catch him in Pokemon Black and White and to be honest, I don't know the whole story of Pokemon Black and White 2 with him, so I will have to revisit those games to learn more about him, which is exciting in its own way that he's mysterious and has to do with the second game's story more.

Manectric is my number five. I also LOVE his Mega form - it's so tacky looking and it looks like the poor electric pup is going to fall face first. But, this isn't the main reason why he's in my top list. I love generation three, as Pokemon Ruby was the first Pokemon game I owned myself. My favorite Pokemon game of all time is Pokemon Colosseum (I know, a spin-off), and as a teen with an action replay, I always gave myself a Poochyena and an Electrike to battle in double battles with (sorry Mightyena, you didn't make the cut because you aren't that good). Manectric is just a super-cool canine design and I love dogs!

Dragalge comes next and I actually have a deep, dark secret about this Pokemon...I've never actually used it! What did you think I was going to say? Skrelp was always hard for me to fish up and I never gave this Pokemon a spin in my team (by the time you catch it in Pokemon X/Y it is later in the game, so I usually have a full team of six by then). However, I've heard from my sister that it's strong and I LOVE its design. I really like fish and dragons (of course) - the fact that it looks like a dark sea dragon is just too cool to pass up for my favorites list.

My seventh on the list is Lunala, but I feel it should be way higher. I've never used Lunala either, but I did catch it. I also fed it those mansalas or whatever they were called in Pokemon Amie and it is just too cute! I like a lot of the bat Pokemon (Swoobat, Zubat...), but Lunala is the coolest by far. I mean, it is a Legendary after all...

Which leads to my eighth pick - Noivern! Another bat Pokemon! This one has a Dragon-typing too, so when you add that to the mix of course its one of my picks (rhyme)! Again, love his design and he's fun to battle with.

My hand is starting to cramp up typing with my long pink nails - so I will save the rest for another day! Thanks for reading!

Love,
glimmer

glimmer's Super Duper Analysis on "Is it Worth it?" Collection series Part 1: Crash Crate - Box Today we will be discussing the Crash Bandicoot Loot Box from numskull and Activision, known as the "Crash Crate". In articular, we are looking at the box itself. After all, all the goodies had to come in something fun and Crash Bandicoot-related, right? As you can see from the above image, the crate fits all of the items inside perfectly. When first opened, the mug was wrapped in bubble wrap. The piece of thick paper with a jungle image was combined with the Crash bottle opener, wrapped in a thin layer of plastic. Besides the missing plastic and bubble wrap, the above image does a good job of showing you all what it looked like when first opening the box. Now, let's talk about the design (my favorite part of the discussion). I pulled the above image off the fan-made Crash Bandicoot Wiki,  Bandipedia . God, you gotta love the names of these wikipe...
Today's Discussion is on Therapists I had my first ever therapist visit. Let's go over it together! Looking for a therapist is as stressful as applying for a job. I had to call my insurance, double check my plan, search on different websites, read their bios, check their location to make sure it isn't too far away from work or home, call them, get an appointment, figure out my co-pay, figure out my deductibles, fill out their forms, print out their forms and...ugh! But, I did it! Here we are. Luckily my insurance pulled a rabbit out of their hat and I only had a co-pay of $5.00. That's much cheaper than my sister or dad's therapists. As I have said before, my sisters and dad see a therapist. This was my first ever visit to a therapist, so I was quite nervous. Throughout the week I kept plotting in my head what could go horribly wrong. Would I just abruptly leave? What if the chair was not comfy? What if I started crying? Luckily none of those questions en...
g1immer's 3-Day Video Game Review! Shenmue 1 Re-Release Hi everyone! If you follow me on twitch, you may be aware that I picked up a physical copy of Shenmue 1+2 for the Playstation 4 on its release date (this Tuesday, 8/21/18). I will go over my experience with the game, pros and cons, memories it brings up, etc! I hope this won't be too scatter-brained, but let's dive right in! First off, this was a re-release, NOT a re-master or a re-make. The difference, to put it simply, is that a re-master has increased graphics and that is it. A re-make would be everything looks way more shiny and new. A re-release is basically just the game and all its bugs and quirks, slapped on the new system. Graphics may still look like they are from the 2000's, but that era always gives me the heart flutters (you are talking to a girl who loved her Nintendo GameCube so go figure)! The box came with a poster with the cover art and the image on the back of it, with some girl an...
